These terms govern the use of PaxHelm. By creating an account or accepting an invitation to a workspace, you accept them.

The service
PaxHelm is a web app for organising tasks, projects, reminders, follow-ups, captures and notes, on your own or in a team workspace, with optional connections to mail and calendar accounts and to Obsidian.
Accounts and workspaces
- To create an account you must confirm a valid email address.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for actions taken with your account.
- Every workspace has at least one owner. Owners and admins invite and remove members; only the owner manages billing and can delete the workspace.
- Shared content belongs to the workspace. Each person's mail, devices and notes vault stay private, even inside a shared workspace.
Plans, prices and payment
The plans and what they include are described on the pricing page. Prices have not been set yet; while payment is not available, accounts are free. Once prices are set, they will be shown with VAT before any charge. Payment, renewal and refund terms will be added here before payment becomes available.
If you are a consumer, you have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract, under Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for illegal activity or to send unsolicited messages.
- Do not try to access other workspaces' data or get around technical limits.
- Do not deliberately overload the service.
Your content
The content you create stays yours. You allow us only to store and process it as far as needed to provide the service. You can export it at any time from the settings.
Third-party services
Connections to Microsoft and Google accounts, IMAP and SMTP servers and Obsidian depend on those services and their terms. Sending a message from PaxHelm always asks for your confirmation.
AI suggestions
AI suggestions can be wrong. They are proposals: nothing is applied without your confirmation, and the decision is always yours.
Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep the service available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or because of faults. We give advance notice of meaningful changes to a paid plan's features.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time in the settings. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms and, where the law allows, we tell you first. If we close an account on our own initiative, you will be able to export your data unless the law prevents it.
Liability
We are liable as provided by law. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives consumers.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights the law of your country of residence gives you.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will tell you by email in advance.
